CATS Flights

What's new

A record of major CATS Flights releases, starting with our launch.

  1. Released

Clearer launches and complete GNSS replays

Explore newly published flights first, see how launch time selects historical weather, and follow estimated descent after the final GNSS fix.

    • Explore now shows newly published flights first and labels launch dates more clearly.
    • Flight forms explain how exact launch time and GNSS coordinates select historical model weather.
    • GNSS maps and replays continue beyond the final fix with clearly marked low-confidence descent estimates.
  2. Released

Rocket attitude visualization and Configurator integration

This release adds a rocket attitude visualization and integrates CATS Flights with CATS Configurator.

    • The rocket attitude visualization reconstructs the rocket’s Earth-referenced orientation alongside its 3D flight path.
    • Integration with CATS Configurator lets you open flight logs directly in Flights.
  3. Released

CATS Vega log access and clearer mobile plots

Analyze flight logs directly from a connected CATS Vega and enjoy clearer interactive plots on smaller screens.

    • Connect a mounted CATS Vega from a compatible desktop browser to browse .cfl logs, see their sizes, generate plots, or download the original files.
    • Vega logs remain local unless you explicitly use the existing Save or Share actions.
    • Plot titles and legends remain readable on narrow screens and while zooming synchronized charts.
  4. Released

Flight analysis, media, and discovery update

This release improves flight analysis, launch media, and public-flight discovery while preserving existing production workflows.

    • Build custom flight-signal plots, combine compatible telemetry scales, and keep your preferred layout in the browser.
    • Browse photos and YouTube footage together on flight and unlisted-share pages while other HTTPS media remains an external link.
    • Find newly published flights first and sort flight overviews by publication time.
    • Use an Explore map that follows the site theme and correctly scaled pressure plots in hPa or psi.
  5. Released

    CATS Flights is live

The first public release brings CATS flight analysis, sharing, and discovery together in one place.

    • Open and analyze CATS .cfl logs locally in your browser.
    • Explore interactive flight summaries, sensor plots, detected events, GNSS trajectories, and historical weather.
    • Save flights to a private library, publish them for the community, or share them with a time-limited link.
